Christmas In July 2005

This was my first Christmas in July at Texas Trails. For those of you who have not been able to attend one you are missing a big one. It started off with a great meal with turkey provided by the Activity Office and the rest was a pot luck from all of those attending. Anyone leaving this meal hungry only had themselves to blame. Plenty of GOOD food.

Then after that we put the chairs in a circle and gifts were handed out. One catch, you did not get to keep the present you were given. Then Diane read us a story and every time she said the right we passed the gifts to the right, and every time she said left the gifts went to the left. Was a lot of fun and several times the lefts and rights come so fast that we got messed up. When the story ended the present you had is what you got. A lot of fun. We then went around the circle and everyone had to tell what they had gotten.
